PINK-EARED DUCK: Malacorhynchus membranceus 41 cm Medium-sized duck appearing brown at a distance It has darker upperparts and whitish underparts, large grey square-tipped bill and obviously a pink ear It is found in larger areas of open fresh water, lagoons and swamps and also muddy water and flood water.
